Job Purpose:
To drive sales growth by identifying business opportunities, building and maintaining strong customer relationships, and achieving assigned sales targets. The role involves handling techno-commercial discussions, preparing offers, and coordinating with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction and timely project execution.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
Education: Graduate in Engineering/Science/Commerce; MBA/PGDM in Marketing preferred.
Experience: 3–6 years of experience in industrial/B2B sales, preferably in a techno-commercial environment (engineering, manufacturing, or renewable energy sector).
Skills:
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong negotiation and relationship management abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
Technical understanding of product/application.
Result-oriented with strong follow-up and planning skills.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development:
Identify potential clients, new market segments, and business opportunities in the assigned region.
Conduct market research to understand industry trends and competitor activities.
Generate new leads through visits, calls, and networking.
2. Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers.
Understand customer requirements and propose appropriate product or service solutions.
Provide regular updates and support to customers throughout the sales process.
3. Techno-Commercial Offers:
Prepare and share techno-commercial proposals in coordination with the design and estimation teams.
Conduct price negotiations and follow up on submitted quotations to close deals.
Ensure that all offers are prepared as per company policies and profit margins.
4. Order Execution & Coordination:
Coordinate with internal teams (Design, Production, Purchase, and Dispatch) to ensure smooth order processing and delivery.
Track project execution status and keep customers informed about delivery schedules.
Ensure all documentation related to sales orders, invoices, and dispatch is completed accurately.
5. Outstanding Payment Follow-up:
Regularly follow up with customers for payments as per agreed credit terms.
Coordinate with the accounts department for reconciliation of accounts and collection status.
Maintain proper documentation of outstanding and collection records.
6. Reporting & MIS:
Maintain daily/weekly sales reports and customer visit logs.
Update CRM or internal systems with inquiry status, quotations, and follow-ups.
Provide sales forecasts and performance reports to management.
7. Post-Sales Support:
Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing post-delivery issues in coordination with the service or CRM team.
Gather customer feedback to identify improvement opportunities in products or services.
